Typical stock apps that are crashing (Mail, safari, and weather. Not phone) |
As many of you know, Evasi0n7 was released about 2-3 weeks ago and has since caused many problems from Mobile Substrate to various crashes.
The newest crash, that many people have been complaining about (including me), links to the stock apps of the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. Many users have brought forward this issue and this fix might just be for you.

1) If you have Appsync for iOS7 or any of the sort, remove it. Many have fixed crashing upon removal of app-piracy related tweaks, mainly Appsync.
Its unfortunate that many people Jailbreak for the sole purpose of Appsync. If you are one of those, I wont blame you. But you will have to remove this, to fix the issue.
If you do however care really deeply about Appsync then no worries - you can reinstall it later.
2) Go to Cydia. Search "afc2add". Do you have it installed? If so, remove it.
This is another unfortunate reason that is causing many app crashes. This "tweak" allows you to view the root filesystem of your iDevice on any program, for example, iFunBox.

Using iFile on your iDevice, head over to /var/mobile/Library/Caches
In that directory, you will need to locate 2 files. Use the iFile search bar:
- com.apple.mobile.installation.plist
- com.apple.LaunchServices-054.csstore
Have you located them? Good. Now delete them. To do so, select both and click the trash button. Make sure after you deleted them to empty the trash.
4) Remove Winterboard. A couple users reported that when they removed Winterboard, the crashing stopped. Hasn't worked for me, but might for you. Never hurts to give it a try!

5) Reboot.
Did that fix it? Let us know in the comments!
